I have been working hard to get around 80 paintings ready for my annual 2 week Exhibition at Aberglasney Gardens, near Llandeilo.
A place I love to visit all year round, it is so special and peaceful and always changing.
My 2 weeks there are like my holiday, sitting in the mansion house surrounded by gorgeous gardens! And hopefully selling lots of my paintings to lovely visitors!
I work all year to prepare for this show, and I am praying for dry weather as last year was a bit of a washout.
Its a wonderful day out, great tearooms serving excellent home made meals and I have 3 rooms of paintings on display for sale in the Mansion house.
I will have something to suit every pocket, from cards for £2 each, prints from £20, sale paintings from previous Exhibitions, small originals from £35 to £95 as well as the larger framed paintings and canvases on the walls.
Do come along and support me, I would be so grateful.
Hope to see you soon! x
This winter so far has been unbelievably wet and windy, however this morning there is a twinkle of sunshine and a patch of bright blue sky, both of which gladden the heart, even if only for a short while!
As the weather has been so wet, I have refrained from planting my garlic bulbs incase they rot, but with the sign of a few rays of sun I may risk popping them into a raised bed and hope for the best!
Whilst I am out there I will be filling the bird feeders and keeping our little feathered friends happy. We have some regular visitors, Robins, Chaffinchs, Tits, Woodpecker, Collared Doves, Blackbirds, Dunnocks all coming here to feed.
I have done many paintings of Robins, also a few Crows, but I think I may paint a few Blue Tits next when I have finished my current commission of a large Poppy Field. It will be on this site when it is finished, so keep looking!
Happy New Year to you all!
I am starting 2016 with a fresh, new website and will be adding new work on a regular basis, so please do log in every few weeks to see what paintings I have produced for sale.
It is now 4th January, I am working on a commission of a large acrylic painting – approx 4ft x 2ft of a Poppy field and praying for some sunshine so I get some natural light to work to! As I speak the rain is again lashing down, our poor fence and gates are flattened to the ground after the strong winds, and I am thinking of summer paintings to cheer me and hopefully you up!
Please use my contact page to message me about commissions or purchases from my site. I can work from photographs e mailed to me, in fact most of the lovely dogs I have had the pleasure of painting are from customers photographs.
I am now going to brave the weather and venture outside to my painting shed, time to get messy!
