This winter so far has been unbelievably wet and windy, however this morning there is a twinkle of sunshine and a patch of bright blue sky, both of which gladden the heart, even if only for a short while!
As the weather has been so wet, I have refrained from planting my garlic bulbs incase they rot, but with the sign of a few rays of sun I may risk popping them into a raised bed and hope for the best!
Whilst I am out there I will be filling the bird feeders and keeping our little feathered friends happy. We have some regular visitors, Robins, Chaffinchs, Tits, Woodpecker, Collared Doves, Blackbirds, Dunnocks all coming here to feed.
I have done many paintings of Robins, also a few Crows, but I think I may paint a few Blue Tits next when I have finished my current commission of a large Poppy Field. It will be on this site when it is finished, so keep looking!
