Day on the Allotment, is one of my latest watercolours for my Valleys series.

This was inspired by my much cherished visits to the allotment with my Gramp when I was a child. Some of my most wonderful memories are of me eating peas and drinking tea from an old enamel mug with my Gramp, and sitting in his wheelbarrow!
